Common questions

Where is my data? On your phone, and nowhere else. Morip has no account, no server and makes no network requests. See the privacy policy.

I changed phones. Where did my workouts go? They do not follow you automatically, because nothing is synced anywhere. Use Settings → Back up to a file on the old phone, move the file across yourself, and Settings → Restore from a file on the new one.

Can I get my data out? Yes. Settings → Back up to a file writes a file you keep. It is yours; Morip never sees it.

Why does Morip ask for location? Only to measure a run — distance and the route drawn on your summary. It is recorded while a run is in progress, stored on the phone, and never transmitted. Skip runs and the permission is never requested.

How do I delete everything? Settings → Reset all data erases the profile, routines and sessions. Deleting the app removes the database with it. Since nothing was ever sent anywhere, there is nothing to request of us.

Reporting a problem

Email the address above. If the app crashed, say what screen you were on — that is usually enough to find it.
